When Geetha becomes insistent about marriage, Arvindaswamy flees to his hometown. There, his father, a car driver for a wealthy family, pressures him to marry their daughter, Lakshmi (Hrithika Srinivas). Lakshmi has physical disabilities and is not mentally sound.
