Gopi (Manjunath Arasu) is a village boy, who is aloof about life and career. Leela (Nimisha K Chandra) is in love with him. Though their love is supposedly mutual, Gopi often flirts with other girls in the village.

Leela’s father is a businessman, and Gopi’s father is a natural farmer. The two are friends and are hopeful that their kids will tie the knot soon. When families confront Gopi and Leela about marriage, Leela rejects Gopi and calls out his irresponsible attitude. Ego clash leads them to face each other in Court? What made the love turn sour, and how is farming built around this story form the crux of the plot.

This R Ravindra directorial may look like yet another love story in the beginning. But as the movie progresses, there is a genuine message about relationships, natural farming, and how responsibilities can change a person. The movie is set in a village, and the makers have ensured there is enough fodder, in terms of twists and turns, to keep the audience interested in the storyline.

Manjunath and Nimisha have genuinely portrayed their roles. S Narayan is seen in a fresh avatar in this film, which is a welcome move. The supporting cast have done the jobs assigned to them neatly.

The movie carries a message for those interested in farming, and for those who want to know more about the farm-to-table process.
