Plot: Arjun Hebbar (Raghu Bhat Ramachandra) wakes up with a cesarean scar on his stomach and a baby girl in the house. He then embarks on a chaotic journey to uncover the truth behind his pregnancy.

Review: Arjun Hebbar (Raghu Bhat Ramachandra) wakes up with severe stomach pain and is rushed to the hospital, only to be told he is going into labour. Dazed and confused, he passes out, but later wakes up at home, dismissing the incident as a dream. But soon after, he finds out a girl baby at home and a cesarean scar on his stomach. He panics and tries to abandon the baby, but in vain. He then seeks help from police inspector Narayan (Sujay Shastry) to uncover the truth behind the baby and his alleged pregnancy.

In the flashback, we are introduced to Arjun, as a renowned chef, who is in love with a food brand firm owner Anusha (Kavya Shetty). But following an unpleasant incident, she distances herself from Arjun. Can Arjun find the real parents of the baby? What has Kavya got to do with the baby?

The movie is reminiscent of the 2007 Bollywood film, Hey Baby. The makers have maintained the originality, and have only borrowed a part of the plot line from the Bollywood film. The film has its share of routine comedy, but nothing stands out. Raghu and Kavya shine in their roles, though the latter appears only in the second half. Vijay Raghavendra adds value as he makes a brief appearance. Sujay, Harini Srikanth provide good support to the cast. Raghu, who has handled multiple responsibilities as lead actor, director and writer has done a commendable job. The comedy, however, could have been better, as the jokes don’t land as expected. There is plenty of drama, too.

Nimagondu Sihi Suddi offers something refreshing from the typical run-on-the-mill Kannada films and is worth a watch for those who want relief from the mundane films.
