Story: Vikram (Sharwanand), living in London, is a talented yet self-centred casanova who prefers enjoying life to dealing with emotions. The sudden demise of his best friend Anurag (Adith Ram) and his wife, Sneha, brings their son, Kushi (Vikram Aditya), and Sneha’s friend, Subadra (Krithi Shetty), into his life. Vikram's life undergoes a transformation as he and Subadra become caretakers of Kushi. What circumstances bond Subadra, Vikram, and Kushi, and are there obstacles in their paradise?

Review: Manamey, directed by Sriram Adittya and featuring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, is a heartwarming rom-com with a touch of drama. While Sharwanand’s vibrant performance and entertaining comic timing, alongside strong performances by Krithi Shetty and the ensemble cast, are noteworthy, it is the tastefully captured visuals and atmospheric music score that truly stand out. The narrative, primarily set in urban London and, to some extent, in European countryside locales, creates a rich and appealing visual palette. The combination of stunning cinematography and an evocative music score elevates the film's overall appeal, making it a sensory delight.

Sharwanand, earning the title of "Charming Star'' with this film, truly charms viewers with his portrayal of a playboy who evolves into an emotional character as the film progresses. He carries the character with panache, sporting a well-stylised wardrobe throughout the film. Each frame in the movie appears meticulously planned, with careful attention to mood, props placement, and lighting direction. Krithi Shetty, playing Subadra, complements him with a spirited performance, embodying a persona opposite to that of Vikram. Vikram Aditya, as little Kushi, delivers an impressive performance. Other characters, portrayed by Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Shiva Kandhukuri, Rahul Ravindran, and Sudarshan contribute to making the film a family entertainer.

Director Sriram Adittya succeeds in presenting an entertaining narrative. However, while the message gets through, the execution of the emotional episodes are a let down as the film progresses. It needed better writing and screenplay to make a lasting impact.

The film boasts top-notch production values, with brilliant cinematography by Vishnu Sharma and a complementary music score by Hesham Abdul Wahab, enhancing the overall appeal. However, the story could have benefited from a tighter timeline. The costume design and art direction deserve special mention for their contribution to the film's visual appeal.

In conclusion, Manamey is a delightful blend of romance and comedy, with a touch of emotional drama, making it a pleasant watch. Despite minor flaws in the narrative depth, the film's strong performances, visual appeal, and engaging music make it a worthwhile experience.
